lol@this cac troll. Claims to be moroccan with muslim fam and don't even know which way the prayer mat goes. Same guy who was crying for the dead cac DJ Avici in the other thread, pathetic.
I'm saying you need people who have studied the religion in some capacity. Laymen won't do you much good bro.

Also PM me for more questions if your are sincere. This thread will most likely go south and I have no intentions of wasting my time arguing with people again. Peace Breh![]()
I’ve always wondered is it necessary to learn salat in Arabic? Or can it be in English?
That was the one thing that was difficult for me when I was attempting to pursue it.
only Arabic !I’ve always wondered is it necessary to learn salat in Arabic? Or can it be in English?

only Arabic !
there are some shorter Surahs (verses) in the Quran and some are a lot more detailed and longer. Everything has to be excited in Arabic but even i don’t know the entire language , mainly just what’s recited during prayer and a few everyday terms.

I don’t believe this is correct brother. Even if it is, I wouldn’t be able to speak a word of English during Salat. Even tho i do know the English translations of the Arabic Surahs I recite, I’d feel silly speaking english while prayingOnly Fatiha is necessary in Arabic for prayer. It's recommended to memorize more, but it's not obligatory. Fatiha is obligatory tho.
I’m a firm believer that people should find their faith from within so i try not preach or forcefully convert others..but if you’ve taken Shahada your already 1/5 of the way there.Arabic was difficult for me. So I just kinda gave up and assumed Islam was just something I probably should appreciate from the outside. That was all after I made shahada, too.
I might delve back into it. Idk.
Great thread!
