I think it's fine until they're 5/6. I used to get in the bath with my mom once in a while. My sister and I took baths together everyday until she was 5/6. I was older only by a year and didn't want her in there with me, but they made me anyway. They also let her scary ass sleep in the bed with me. I didn't want her in there b/c there was less room and she always peed in the bed. She sleept in my bed so much that my matress had more of her piss on it that hers. She also used to sleep in my parent's bed when my dad wasn't there. She'd sneak in there when he was, but he'd kick her out b/c it was uncomfortable, then my mom would make me let her get in my bed.

I know, i went way off topic. lol Oh well :queen:

Unless you a rich nikka who can afford a house with multiple bathrooms, you got no choice. :francis:

Since when did having more than one bathroom mean that you're rich?

I've never been in a house that only had one bathroom, and those people aren't rich.

My grandparent's aren't rich and their house has 3 bathrooms. 2/3 is usually the normal number for a house. Apartments are different.

I've also heard that being said about having a basement. :dahell:

Let the kids be kids man everybody took baths with their siblings/cousins when they were younger.

This. People over think things these days. Just let them bathe together, once they are old enough to wash themselves properly or simply dont want to bathe with their sibling then stop.

Nothing wrong with siblings bathing together, soon people will stop their children from doing anything together if we over think things.

No, I would never do that with my son. I don't care what age. My mother did that with my brother and I when we were under 5. I have a great memory. I wish that I didn't. :wow:

We bathe our daughter and son together (2 and half and 1) and will probably continue to do so until they're able to bathe themselves. Adults, mostly men, find a way to sexualize the most innocent shyt. I doubt toddlers is out here having incestuous thoughts.

The people who are supporting the idea of bathing children together sound like lazy parents. You sound lazy and you probably complain about the water bill. :manny:
1) Cross contamination.
2) Each child deserves your undivided attention at bathtime.
3) At some point those memories will begin to stick with the child.

It's not about perverse thoughts, double bathing is just unsanitary and lazy. That is all.

No, it's not okay to bathe them together, male or female. Children should have privacy if very young like under 7 with the parent assisting with bathing. It's also about teaching them to respect boundaries of others and their selves.

I don't think it's lazy. Some kids like to play with their bath toys in the tub with their sibblings. I did until I got older (4/5). Also, sometimes younger sibblings are clingy and want to do everything and go everywhere with their older sibbling, like mine was.

I never did with my daughter. Just didn't feel right to me for whatever reason. I really don't plan to with my son either.
Probably being raised old school where the boys and girls were typically separated. Not really sure. :yeshrug:

It really depends on the parent and the child though. I wouldn't knock anyone that bathed with their kids.
I would imagine it would be a nice bonding moment.

That doesn't make it right. Also, when I tell my child no...I mean no. So if my child wants to bathe with a sibling, I am going to say No...and it's not going to happen.

I think it's okay until about 5

it really shortens bathtime, and bedtime routines.
