If I do its minimal, its not like I'm straight denying them food. Just mines.

For instance, we go to popeyes for a family box of chicken but I only eat strips so I order 3 strips for myself. If I share, I'm giving away 2 strips thus leaving me with one. No bueno, they already have chicken + mines? Nah son....

I even teach my kids that they don't have to share with other kids. They pass it on once they're done with it until then that other kid has to wait. The world doesn't revolve around them or any other single person. You won't always get to be the line leader or be able to play with the red car. Thats life...
