no, but i have had a gun put to my head and i have witnessed two shootouts firsthand.

I’m 40 and growing up in Inglewood Ca and grandparents living in Compton, I knew about or close to 20 people shot with 6 being killed and a girl I wanted to talk to be left paralyzed because the nikka she was with left her in the car while it was getting shot up

shyt went in one cheek and out the other. He was trying to break up a fight.

My little god sister was shot about 4 times at a house party in Inglewood a few years ago. Her brother was killed along with I think three or four other people and she was hit in the back leg arm and somewhere else. Permanently traumatized by large crowds and gatherings.
My boy was shot in the face and survived

Yea, a few ppl. But one in particular, my lil cuz got shot in the tailbone or somethib when us and some of his brothers were in another hood. It was said that the mf coulda been walking again but he was to lazy (plus I heard that shyt hurt like a bytch) to do rehab, so he just wheelchair bound now...crazy tho, nikka still be pulling hoes, having threesomes and all the shyt

Main one is prolly my boy Chad…he just got out of prison he did 4 yrs…right before he went in our boy got married in the A, so we hung out that weekend…he went in shortly after…he got out and from the looks of it he got his money up, foreign rentals designer threads etc
Supposedly he stole somebody’s work and money and basically dared them to do something about it

Have family that has been killed over street shyt. Have had neighbors killed and see their family breakdown when theyve heard the news. Probably one of the main reasons I'm so against that lifestyle.

My best homie got shot 4 times by Shell on 3rd Ave, in Birmingham after coming back from Detroit(we still joke bout that) for work. He was 36 at the time. He lived but he was laid up for a sec.

One of my dad’s friends got shot a bunch of times during a robbery. He was dead but was brought back to life and he’s always going on about how there’s no God because he didn’t see anything. I have a bunch of former classmates who’ve been shot and or killed.
