I remember when we said only cacs were dealing with opioids and that shyt ignored the reality that it was hitting young people in our community HARD. And now we're dismissing this brain poison shyt as cac behavior when black people are on that wave too.

not just young people... opioids killed prince rogers nelson too. i dont think the opioid epidemic can really be compared with the crack epidemic. a lot of people would be hesitant before trying something like cocaine or crack, but plenty of "normal" well to do types have broken a bone or something and gotten some percocets from their doctor.

crack was different whereas people had to actually try coke or crack themselves to get that feeling. you also had to go somewhere sketchy to buy it. you can pick up oxys right at the pharmacy. so it seemed more 'legit' to them im sure. then they had to run out and cop street drugs, something they thought they were 'better than' previously

opioids have affected every race in america. nobody got off lightly. whereas crack really demolished the poor, were seeing people of all income levels affected by this.

please dont take any of my rant as some attempt to downplay the evils of the CIA in the 70s/80s, my point was that no matter who you are, we have the same brain structure somewhat. opioids arent 'white' any more than cocaine is 'black' - drugs make you feel good no matter who you are. just ask pimp c or dj screw. drugs hurt EVERYBODY.

You need to recognize when you're not educated enough to speak on a subject. I'll include myself in that category when it comes to talking about fascism because that is a topic better left to historians who actually write books about this.

The one thing I do know about fascism is that it looks different in every country that implements it so you cannot simply say the American brand of fascism looks nothing like the one in Nazi Germany and be done with it. Fascism looked different in Italy than it did in Germany. Likewise, both looked different than the fascist regime in India.
