Drink is free. If it’s a red wine stain on a white shirt, depending on the restaurant I’ll ask atleast half off the bill / remove a few items off the bill.

You seem to be fair. I know some folks will try to get the whole table comped and threaten to sue.

I was on a plane once and the flight attendant spilled a drink on this guys jacket. I couldn’t tell the specifics but she was cutting a check.

to me it depends. If I got a drink spilled on me and it’s not something that would damage what I’m wearing I’m not gonna press the issue unless they were just reckless. If it messed my clothes up though They have to make it right

This a tricky situation. Depending on the fabric of your clothes and price of said clothes. A spill can ruin your clothes. So a free drink may not be enough imo. But if yo shyt all good take the free drink and keep it pushing

Why is nikkas go-to always a free meal? Or a free something? :why:

The protocol that I’ve seen has always been that the restaurant will pay for your dry cleaning. If they didn’t offer, send the bill to them.

The Truth
Depends on how the chick handled it…

If she was truly apologetic and it didn’t affect me none, I would’ve let it slide (I don’t get drinks spilled on me at restaurants but it’s happened at a bar before, just took the free drink if it didn’t effect my gear).

But sounds like chick thought he wasn’t important enough for a thorough apology. In that case, should’ve walked up to another waitress/hostess after the meal and ask for a manager

Bumping for the outcome OP. :lupe:
My bad never updated. Got the meal for the free. When she asked if we were done I said yeah but this really ruined my night and I have to go buy new pants now so I’d appreciate it if I could get the meal comped and I’ll still leave you a tip. She said she couldn’t do it, I called cap and told her to just bring over the manager and I’m not playing games. All of a sudden she could do it :manny:

Just went back to the crib after that but I was legit covered. Like I wasn’t even upset but I couldn’t even enjoy my time because my pants were soaking wet.

Left peacefully, left her the tip, and low key would probably go there again :manny:

Low key on some nights I would but I don’t like the way she handled it. She spilt it, said I guess that one’s free, and then handed me napkins and left for like 10 minutes. It was a lightweight apology too like she was more upset she had to clean up a glass instead of me being soaking wet

:russ: Hell nah I would be tight. shyt ain’t funny
