I live in Miami with also a lot of diversity and I rarely see black people date out.:yeshrug:

But yet you say white men value black women.:comeon:

Why do ya'll paint all black men in the same paint brush and yet ya'll say is not all white men.:stopitslime:

I have never in my life said or implied white men value black women...y'all read one thing & assume the next.

So you really gonna stereotype black men like that?

So when white men stestereotype black women what do you do? Agree? :dwillhuh:

I am not necessarily stereotyping black men,I am calling the situation what it is.Black women are not respected/valued in the black community & by the world at large(which is controlled by white men).I am not going to sugar coat that.

I'm talking about your second post in this thread, you went out your way to tell a poster that all white men ain't bad but the black men don't like black women thread who just paint all of us in one brush.

You come across on putting white men over black men by doing that.

Yet you wanna sugar coat how all white men ain't bad.

And what do mean by not being valued by the black community?

Can you give me examples? whats your definition by being valued?

No, I went out my way to tell him that some white men are interested in black women. He was trying to use a tactic against me that a number of black men & black women in the black community use to dissuade black women from dating out.Did you see the extent he was trying to deem me as inferior? He was trying to convince me no matter what, any & all white men will put x,y,& z over me.That is false and I believe that there are a number of black women who actually believe that their blackness will prevent them from the likes of non-black men.

Yet you wanna sugar coat how all white men ain't bad.

No,I was not saying how "all white men aren't bad," just that there are some who are interested in black women.& There are many reasons of how black women are not valued...I will try to keep it short & sweet. When it comes to black problems, the majority of the focus is on black men.Black women do not have the same support as black men have in the black community.& I've always thought this as ironic, because black women will figuratively kill themselves trying to save black men. When it comes to cases such as Trayvon Martin,Mike Brown, etc black women are on the forefront.Issues exclusive to black women are not thought of as serious.& Then there's colorism (which we already know how that is).The constant bashing at large, etc.Hey,the general term black men have for women is "B*tch."& I would argue that's pretty much the way black women are treated, as dogs.

if black women were getting gunned down the same way black males are, you'd see the same support. it's crazy how black women believe the men are more supported when all the facts suggest otherwise. more homeless black men, more unemployed black men, more black men incarcerated, yet black men are more supported. more black women in college, more black women in corporate america, more black female business owners, but black men are more supported.

and for the last time, y'all need to stop complaining about colorism. you boast about all the BW/WM couples you've seen on campus, as if those unions dont create more light skinned people to further the colorism complex. since you women are pitting yourselves between a rock and a hardplace, it's going to be real interesting seeing y'all have to defend your biracial children while fighting against their praise. :heh:

& You & poitier need to stop with this ridiculous idea that somehow the creation of more light skin people would be problematic. :merchant:What you're saying: Since black men put lighter skin women on a pedestal,I should avoid being with a white man because of the possibility creating a light skin child. If I DID have a biracial light skin daughter it would not be HER problem of how black men regard her. That is the BLACK man's problem not hers.
