The hilarious thing is that in south america, Brazilian teams have some much more budget than any other country that it's impossible to compete with THEM in most competitions :russ:

It's basically them, Racing Club, Boca Juniors or River Plate or something. But yeah, saying a team that's valued at nearly $200M is "small" in football is something... they aren't small.. they are as valuable as the bottom table Premier League teams who by the way beat the top of the league sometimes as well

You are so lost breh :pachaha: I get that you follow mostly by results or names but the truth is Racing getting the results they've been getting hasn't been because of budget, they just a solid team that rises their level in international play. And honestly Copa Sudamericana is the competition brazilian teams lets the rest of the region win so they can have something to brag about :russ:

Boca has been doing horrible sans the 1 season they got to the Finals (without winning a single game in the knockout stage :russ:) and River has looked lost against the really tough brazilian competition for the past 5 years.

If they do well this tourney it's an outlier. Like I said the other day, the only consistent team from the region is Palmeiras (and Flamengo, to a lesser extent). The rest are just 1 season wonders and then they either have to rebuild because they sold their key pieces or go to shyt for other reasons.

Alot of Europeans act like they are miles above south American football. Even with this results European football is obviously better but the gap isn't as big as euro cacs make it seem. Honestly if Argentina and Brasil were richer countries they would be able to keep they talent and shyt would look spooky

I'm a black man in America. I don't see things through a European or CAC lens. I agree with you that the gap isn't as big as Euro cacs make it seem. At the same time I don't care what those cac think.

Related to this topic, my issue is with Brazilians trying to adopt the European CAC standard smh

Argentina is Nazi nation that should be blown the fukk up...I don't give a fukk about them people

Europe damn near buys Brazilian star players in the womb, and there was a narrative that South American leagues would be treated like Auckland City vs Bayern on Europe's relegation leagues.

shyt ain't sweet. :brpls:

Yeah, definitely. I've been waiting for Flamengo to beat Chelsea to secure first place tomorrow, not just to win, but to get Benfica in the next round.

Them Portuguese cacs need some humbling. :brpls:

This is wildly inaccurate, I watch more of these teams than 90% of the people in here. River Plate is always well over $200M in market value. I follow these teams to watch the young players. Boca Juniors has won the Copa 6 times. They've won the league a million times. They are not a one year wonder AT ALL.. Racing Club has won the league over a dozen times as well

Because they are all hurt that PSG ran through the Champions League like it was nothing.

I'm confused. Anyone who knows ball isn't looking down on South American leagues.

The cacs looking down on South American leagues look down on everything....They call League 1 the farmers' league.

I don't understand how PSG catching strays

I....literally said the past 5 years :dwillhuh: the past 5 years has been the real disparity in budget from brazilian teams and the rest of south america. River has been spending like crazy, specially the last 3 years, to try to compete with brazilian squads, and they have not seen results on the pitch, they've been playing like shyt for at least 2 years and have looked rather lost against good squads for the past 5.

You name Boca's history -which is not the point I was making, but whatever- but then act like fukking Racing is a real competitor? da hell.

Yes, of course. I can explain that very quickly. After last season a lot of these posters said PSG was "done" when Mbappe went to Real. I have always been a PSG fan as long as I've been watching Euro leagues and I knew there might be a slight rebuild but I told them they were nowhere close to being done. They tried to call them farmers etc.. all of it.

So fast-forward to this season, not only did PSG win the Champions League, they beat several Premier League teams along the way, Man City, Villa, Liverpool and Arsenal

Not all of the posters are upset or sore losers... but some are. That explains it.

Interesting

Amongst Brehs, PSG get nothing but love.
Talisman is black (Dembele)
Potential African Player of the Year (even though it's gonna be Salah, Hakimi has a shot)
Pacho, Mendes, Barcola, Doue, and a few others lowkey a black team

The CAC logic hate on PSG sounds weird with the amount of brehs on the team

Good point. :mjpls:

But then again, those Euro teams can't get it done with only their pasty cacs, can they? There's a reason they gotta poach so many players. :mjlol:

PSG catching strays by other Euroball fans? That's crazy, I'd just point to the UCL title :mjlol:
