Most rain water is relatively potable. And you could boil it in the pot to purify it. You can also use stones on the island to filter it.

With the knife you could make a tent/home and use trees or bushes to make string/rope to tie things. The knife is not ideal for hunting and fishing but it can get the job done.

I'm not much of a swimmer so the raft is helpful for food.

The first aid kit is self explanatory.
