I knew this older Jewish man that worked in Hollywood back in the 50s and before he passed he once told me that black people really had no idea how valuable we are and it never ceased to amaze him.

I remember reading how Dame, Irv Gotti, J Prince, and Suge Knight once tried to come together to start a music distribution for black artists. And it was said that Jay Z went and told TPTB about it. Next thing you know, Dame loses Rocafella, Irv Gotti and his brother got indicted, and Suge loses Death Row Records. J Prince barely got outta that unscathed.

Prince were trying to start a independent black distribution company but Jay Z told Lyor Cohen and one thing led to another and it was shut down. I never necessarily believed it but it was really suspicious that around this time this was happening Suge got into even more legal trouble and eventually lost Death Row, Irv Gotti and his brother got in legal trouble and though acquitted basically are nothing in the industry now.

Also any info on Byron Allen? Brother owns Entertainment Studios and recently bought the Weather Channel. I read up on him and his film studio has been putting out films that independently. Could he be a major player in Hollywood?

Wendy Williams

She’s definitely born a woman. Matter of fact, there’s an episode of Martin...the Varnell Hill episode actually, where she appears at the very beginning because they’re at a radio DJ convention. She makes a minor cameo. One of our local DJs from Chicago was on that episode as well. All they did was state their name kind of like they were taking attendance.

Anyways, she looked TOTALLY different than she does now.
