D'Angelo is a musical genius
Maxwell had some incredible producers and session artist (including the late great Wah Wah Watson) from 97 - 2001.
The albums were incredibly sound engineered too.
But D'Angelo is a different monster.
Pino Palladino on bass, J Dilla on the MPC, Spanky on guitar, D'Angelo on the Keys, Elavado on production.
Voodoo is an album that still hasn't been topped this century
That Maxwell MTV unplugged live album is crazy too BTW

Also your song selection is trash, that collab with Lauryn Hill is nowhere near being D'Angelo at his best.
