i think it's an average of 5 pounds a month which is like 500 calorie deficit a day. not hard at all if you are determined but the muscles definition is probably more impressive cuz i know people be in the gym for years and don't be that cut....

lol do you understand how fat distribution works? Every body type is prone to different levels of fat distribution. Some in the chest, most probably around the “love handles” area.
Some bodybuilders even have gyno, or just fat placement in their nipples.. no matter how much weight they lose or how low their BF is. Fat distribution has very little to do with muscle mass on a dirty bulk

A dirty bulk is 1000% how he achieved that first look. He should be commended for sticking to his cut for as long as he did, but a cleaner bulk is immensely better for you than what he did

It really depends on your build and genes IMO. If you're a big dude and eat like 3000+ calories a day then cutting 500 is no big deal.
For someone like me (5'9 165) cutting would be hard since I'd probably have to go below 1500 to lose any bodyfat.
