No. But I’d rather get to the root of the problem instead of just shaking my fist on TikTok and screaming “those damn thugs!”

Come on now. Y’all know criminality is directly tied to poverty. Take any race in any country and the common denominator with criminality especially street level crimes is their financial class. There is no all and everybody for any situation but we can go by the numbers to see what is more likely to happen given circumstances.

Most criminals are teenagers living at home with their parents. They're not killing and robbing to put food on the table

Crime is a result of culture. You can teach poor kids not to be violent but instead to work hard

Its time to grow up.
Growing up would be realizing that the areas with the highest criminal elements are those with dilapidated homes, terrible schools, and low wages. With kids whose parents are either out of the home, neglectful or engaged in nefarious activities themselves. Go to the north/westside of Jacksonville and then travel down to the town center/beaches and see why one side is higher in criminal activity.

But I get it. Yall have no real idea how crime festers and instead of wanting to root out the issue you’d rather act like conservatives and throw tantrums at “thug culture” that do nothing but make you feel better online.

No one is doing the teaching because the parents aint shyt.

But you can for sure teach kids in low income environments to respect themselves, others, and the environment around them.

Which is precisely why crime is a result of culture.

There is no excuse to rob and kill good hardworking people. You're just a piece of shyt.

Both things can be true. My older brother was raised in a good home where he got everything he wanted and had family around and still ended up as a street dude because at the time that was the wave.

Of course poverty is a cause but it's not the only cause because there are people who grow up in that same impoverished areas and never become criminal.

So where did this culture come from and why are poor children in need of this lesson? And why are their parents not shyt?

Not true. 25 year olds were found to be the largest group to commit violent crimes in a recent study and that’s not even taking into account what financial background they came from. The link below talks about it. It’s not a cultural thing. It’s not a coincidence that the poorest countries in the world also have the highest crime rates.

Ofcourse. There are people who go to war and don’t come back with ptsd. That doesn’t mean seeing someone blown up doesn’t cause ptsd.

There are people who commit crimes because they think it’s cool but that’s not how you get a gang culture.

The culture resulted from low self worth people.

Funny enough, all that drug/crime money never even went into the community, but was spent for vanity reasons. Which again proves these are individuals of low self worth. Criminals are in it for their own gain.

If you have poor people and teenagers that do not resort to crime, what excuse is there to stand on?
