He makes good points, but unfortunately, the street will always exist until society is ready to have an honest conversation about the roots (lack of economic opportunities, less funding towards education, etc) of the problem because it's a complex issue that requires a segment of society to look in the mirror and take accountability for creating these causes that lead to effects.

Unfortunately, America always thinks jail and more police presence are the answer when that just further escalates the problem into an even bigger one.
