Clayton Kershaw > Pedro Martinez because he won back2back Cy Youngs and has a sub-2 ERA in the NL in the 2010's

Russell Wilson > Tom Brady because he threw for almost as many passing yards in his first three seasons as the King himself.

Kobe Bryant > LeBron James because LeBron switched teams in his career.

feel free to add onto this list.

Sherman > Chris Harris Jr. (even though the eye test and advanced statistics both say the opposite) because Richard has cool commercials and an edgy nickname for him and his teammates

"How you can you have us below the *insert Dolphins, Texans, Chiefs, or other mediocre team here*?! We added these 2 mediocre FAs and our young players only got better this offseason! There is no way we don't make the playoffs or win less than 11 games! You're such a CAC"

Who the fukk is saying Kershaw is better than Pedro?

:mindblown:

Although Kershaw has the potential to have a better career...but he'll have to continue to dominate and improve those playoff numbers.

LOL if you think kershaw could ever be better than pedro with his already terrible playoff numbers while pitching in the weakest offensive division in baseball in the most pitcher-friendly era in baseball history

Playoff numbers are largely ignored when talking about careers...because it's too small of a sample size. But still, you can't be HORRIBLE in the playoffs.

And Kershaw's regular season numbers through his first 200-ish games actually matches up with Pedro's first 200-ish games really closely.

So it's not inconceivable that Kershaw could do better...especially if he stays healthy.
Keep in mind that Pedro was essentially finished as a pitcher at 33.

Just got done doing my NBA draft projections after watching two primetime ESPN games against and high school highlight tapes.

Jahlil Okafor has a great presence inside. He's got great hands, and he knows how to shoot the rock from 15 feet out. NBA Comparison: Hakeem Olajuwon mixed with Wilt Chamberlain and add a dash of Dwyane Wade

Really love the way Tah'Kel Jackson plays the floor. Excellent vision, great hustle, and he has great athleticism. NBA Comparison: Michael Jordan cross-mixed with Allen Iverson and Isaiah Thomas.

My sleeper pick is Mickey McCourty. Yeah he's a white boy, but he's still nice. Best stroke n/h i've ever seen from a big man. He's also leading the Big 12 with 8.4 blocks per game, and his adjusted axial reverse helix wins above replacement but below displacement per game (AARHWARBBDPG) is exactly 6.4%, highest in division one basketball. Think he's going to be a great pick at the next level. NBA Comparison: Shaquille O'Neil mixed with Larry Bird and Dirk Nowitzki
