He was higher than Harden too. Using the fan vote to gauge people's specific opinion's about a player's game is silly. Westbrook wasn't the leading vote getter because he doesn't have a narrative behind him this season. Last season he had the goodwill of fans because he was the anti-KD and he also had the triple double narrative. Since its been done, the triple double thing doesn't carry the same weight anymore. Plus OKC has been inconsistent.
It'd be like me noting that Westbrook has the second highest selling jersey amongst guards this year, just like he did last year, and trying to make a judgement about what fans think about his game based on that.
