Media hype players during the season, a lot of FOs are fully occupied with their own season.
It makes sense that they sit down and start looking at tapes, assessing their balance sheet and thinking about their own roster, possible trades etc after the season. Unless there’s like super obvious people no one can miss.
So just like Manziel and Teebow might’ve been the most hyped things in the world by media. It didn’t mean that they were by nfl teams, in the end nobody even knew which round they would go

Sean Peyton was going to pick him at 11, the Chiefs knew this, hence why they traded up to get in front of the Saints.
