He's absolutely right. FINALLY somebody in the "mainstream media" to call WWE out for what it is.

There's nobody even ON THE RIGHT TRACK TO being a Conor McGregor right now in WWE. There won't be until Linda takes that Trump cabinet job and Vince retires. At the very earliest.

Hand the keys over to the Kliq already for Christ's sake.

McGregor aint gonna last because he's just not that good. He has personality but he already lost to Diaz who was a journeymen fighter. I think Aldo takes out this dude in their rematch and then he'll be runnin shyt again with his boring ass lol. Before McGregor came along people were sayin the same shyt about UFC with the creating stars shyt.

Cowherd is right and wrong. WWE's ratings have dropped like hell but this is still a business that's going to sell out the Air Canada whatever arena in back to back nights this weekend. One show is headlined by Nakamura vs. Samoa Joe. Who the hell knows who these guys are? Nobody but us. It still sold out in record time as they all do, all NXT events end up selling out.

The other show is headlined by old ass Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. No John Cena, No Taker, no Sting, no HHH, no Rock. It's still a sellout.

Royal Rumble will have a huge crowd in the Alamodome.

WrestleMania despite whoever headlines will have 80,000+ fans. How many UFC events can get over 80,000? Has there been one? McGregor and Aldo ain't doin 80k+ unless it's in Ireland.

Nobody knows who Woodley is. Nobody knows who the women's champ is. Ronda will get killed again and go away. Probably go to wrestling ironically.

I'll take comments. Tell me anything I said that was inaccurate in my post. :manny:

Aldo will probably beat him but as for this "double champion" thing he has goin on. That speaks volumes how shytty the landscape is. But despite how shytty it is, some no name cac will come along and win as it always happens. The closest you'll see as dominate is Jon Jones or Anderson Silva. The rest of these fighters it's hilarious because they talk shyt on boxing but then all they do is attempt to box and it's just two cacs throwing haymakers and eventually one lands :russ:

OR someone like Lesnar or that Weidman cac people with amateur wrestling backgrounds lol gets in there and wrestles these fake boxers to the ground and then they lay on top on said fake boxers for 5 rounds and win the fights that way.

Again, I'll take comments. If anyone would like to dispute what I've said let's debate :manny:

Slow down, man. :whoa:

We don't know if there will be a big star anymore. There are only a few we can count on both hands.

Honestly, I feel Nakamura can be a star. He has the swag and I can see some of his gestures catching on to mainstream. I don't know if he CAN be a Cena or a Rock though.

I don't think wrestling/wrestlers will ever be big as it used to be.

I don't necessarily agree with him comparing UFC to WWE. The two entities are almost totally incomparable, and the crossover audience isn't even that big to begin with. Not to mention there's a large number of people who watch wrestling for different reasons than they watch MMA

Also I think there's aspects of/times in WWE where the so-called "energy" in the product matches and often trumps UFC on its best day (NXT, CWC, moments like KO winning the belt, etc)

He's right though about WWE not creating new stars. Yeah, you have Shield Bryan Nakamura Balor Styles whomever but they're not transcendent stars who amplify the industry by their mere presence. There's a lot of reasons for that which I don't wanna get into, but the gist of it is that the people running WWE are out of touch and there's a lack of consistent direction relating to the company and its product. They sometimes wanna be like Hollywood with their family drama storylines, then sometimes an alternative to MMA with their ring based content like NXT and CWC, then sometimes corporate and PG-oriented, then other times "edgy" and "badass". The result of this now is the company not putting forward characters *keyword characters* who are bolstered by a consistent direction in their booking, writing, and most importantly presentation.

The WWE's brand of shytty programming was gonna eventually open up the floodgates for backlash like this and its hard for the fans to even defend it because its been that bad(especially Raw)

However These UFC faggits are always throwing salt at Boxing and Wrestling but yet these muthafuggas stay copying wrestling for theatrical purposes to sell tickets. That CAC Mcgreggor stay swagger jacking Wrassling personalities

Are u suggesting that match had any redeemable qualities?

nah, they were both leaving and they didnt care. You ever gave a shyt your last day at a job?

Brock vs. Goldberg is what it is. nobody wants to see none of these new nikkas. Thats just what it is.

They are real wrestlers, and thats what attracts people. Big Tough Cool Superhero type muthafukkas. I like that shyt myself. Cant lie thats why I start watching wrestling... thats why all of us started watching.

Nobody is ever gonna pay to see Johnny Gargano vs. Sami Zayn. They just not...

You really think Nakamura will prove to be the guy? He can't even speak English. Sorry but that's like Rule A1 to being a star in American wrestling. Sucks because the dude is so charismatic, almost HBGOAT level, but you have to take the American fan into consideration.
