Westbrook couldn't stop CP3 nor could CP3 stop Westbrook. The difference is that one of those teams had a healthy Durant being checked by Barnes but Blake was being checked by Ibaka.
CP3 averaged 22.5/11.8/3.7 REB with 2 turnovers on 51% shooting on Westbrook during those playoffs and it came down to a couple of calls.
Westbrook averaged 27.8/8.8 AST/6 REB with 4 TOV on 49%. They couldn't guard each other and the difference came from the other players.
CP had the majority of his points coming off picks, rarely did he ever break down Westbrook one-on-one. Westbrook blew past him in every situation, backed him down in the post and basically did what he wanted against him and the Clippers defense. It wasn't even close.
Apart from Game 1 which was an anomaly for CP (8/9 3-pt) - Westbrook DOMINATED him in every other game:
Westbrook averaged 27.6 PPG on 59 TS%
Paul averaged 20.6 PPG on 53 TS%,
That series deaded any argument that CP had over Westbrook.
