CP3 is still better than Westbrook, IMO. Westbrook is more of a physical presence but CP3 is still the smarter, more impactful player.
cp3 is the most overrated pg. they win without him.

Other than 3 pt shooting. Kyrie literally does nothing better than Westbrook
He has better mid range jumper, assist to turnover ratio, better finisher around the rim. You could play Kyrie off the ball more effectively because let's be honest Westbrook also gets criticized for being a scoring point guard but he's not as good of scorer as Kyrie/Curry.

Lol your reaching bruh. He's a better scorer than both of them, and he's a much better passer than Kyrie. Plus there's a whole other side of the game that I notice you didn't mention:sas2:

Kyrie doesn't get enough credit, 80% of that list is more athletic than he is. From a skills standpoint I'd put him up against anyone on that list

who would you exclude to include him?

true, dudes nice as hell but I cant kick any of those out. I want to move Conley up but outside of Lillard that's tough to do. hes been an underrated player for a long time

if Parker continues to nurse injuries/be inconsistent, he has to start sliding out of these like you said earlier in the thread

Nah, what little argument CP had over Westbrook was completely killed last postseason in the Thunder/Clippers series.

Bullshyt.

Westbrook couldn't stop CP3 nor could CP3 stop Westbrook. The difference is that one of those teams had a healthy Durant being checked by Barnes but Blake was being checked by Ibaka.

CP3 averaged 22.5/11.8/3.7 REB with 2 turnovers on 51% shooting on Westbrook during those playoffs and it came down to a couple of calls.

Westbrook averaged 27.8/8.8 AST/6 REB with 4 TOV on 49%. They couldn't guard each other and the difference came from the other players.

They barely win without him and then lose without him because they couldn't create their own shots in the clutch. He comes back and they blow out that same team two games in a row.

CP3 makes life much easier for the Rockets.

I think Parker's done bruh. All this bball he's played in his career especially the last 4 seasons (2 finals appearances AND a WCF) along with the summer's he's played international ball for France has caught up to him. Seems like the last 3 straight postseason's, he's entered the playoffs nursing SOME sort of injury.

CP had the majority of his points coming off picks, rarely did he ever break down Westbrook one-on-one. Westbrook blew past him in every situation, backed him down in the post and basically did what he wanted against him and the Clippers defense. It wasn't even close.

Apart from Game 1 which was an anomaly for CP (8/9 3-pt) - Westbrook DOMINATED him in every other game:

Westbrook averaged 27.6 PPG on 59 TS%
Paul averaged 20.6 PPG on 53 TS%,

That series deaded any argument that CP had over Westbrook.
