It would be stupid in part of Kaep to play this season. At this point, any owner or GM who sign you, are basically setting you up for failure.

The season is already half way over, as much as I love Kaep and know he can do a great job with a full training camp, he isn’t in the tier 1 of QB range that can come 8 weeks into a season and carry a team to the playoffs or deeper.

The moment Kaep has a bad game, these cacs are gonna go on the “see, we told you he was trash”. They will completely ignore the trash QB play all yr and will look to shyt on Kaep the first bad game.

Kaep needs to sit the season out, wait to see how this lawsuit goes and then try again in the offseason. At this point, kaep not playing is bigger for the movement than him getting a bullshyt job

Reminds me of Josh Freeman. The Vikings picked him up and had him playing that week. Dude was terrible obviously and it seems like no one cared. He was jetisoned out of the league. White boys with full training camp can throw 5 picks in a game and it's forgotten the next day.

Kaep going to a team now and expected to start would be a Josh Freeman situation. Lose lose

Every week would be the :maples: bowl, the fukkery with all those racist ass Texans :banderas:

I'd buy a Kaep jersey and sit in the stands just for the fukkery :banderas:

For real though, first team to sign him I'll buy his jersey

Just saw this on my Twitter wire. If the Texans sign, (who they should have signed in the offseason to mentor a HEALTHY Deshaun) then I'll officially stop the boycott. Since our owner is a huge trump supporter and an open white supremacist, perhaps it could all be for PR. Either way it will be interesting to see how this develops.

Lets see what happens though

Report: Texans will consider signing Colin Kaepernick

A topic which has been hotly debated all around the NFL now takes center stage in Houston. According to FOX’s Jay Glazer, the Texans are internally discussing the possibility of signing controversial quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

This would be quite a leap for Texans owner Bob McNair, who recently referred to NFL players as inmates and was a hardliner against the player protest movement initiated by none other than Kaepernick.

While Kaepernick hasn’t played since the end of the 2016 season, and the Texans having just signed Matt McGloin and T.J. Yates, those moves might have been made just to address the short-term need to get some depth behind Tom Savage. The Texans will start Savage Sunday against the Colts, but perhaps they are looking at another longer-term option.

Deshaun Watson is thought to need eight or nine months to recover from the ACL tear he suffered last week. That could mean he wouldn’t be ready to get back on the field until after training camp. If that’s the case, it would make sense for the Texans to find a more capable quarterback option now in case Watson has a set-back in his recovery.
