I applaud Kaep, and hope he continues to fight injustice (as if you can only be middle-class or poor to stand for injustice) and work with various communities and orgs he's been working with. Guy took a stand for what he believed AND put

My pops was in the army, and he told me he doesn't give a f*ck about the flag nor the anthem. They were quick to run with the patriotism narrative, but where is the patriotism when the vets come home & have trouble readjusting to civilian life.

Kap is one of the VERY few athletes/entertainers/celebrities that took a stand for something, and actually put effort in to his beliefs.

When you sit back and revise what really happened, he was criticized, threatened, and vilified for speaking up for justice for voiceless people in the most peaceful way possible. Its absurd when you look back on it.

Speak up for unarmed black people getting killed by police with no justice? "fukk you ******, shut up and play foobaw!!! "

Yeah, it's truly infuriating the way this has to be. People won't even educate themselves on what Kaep protested for. You still have retards across the media and public saying he did this all for attention...when they were the ones who brought the spotlight to him in the first place and made it a topic. Kaep silently protested by kneeling. He didn't have any "hey look at me I'm protesting by kneeling" moments, yet that's the way they pin it on him.

Listening to the vitriol in black sports radio voices on this topic is one of the most depressing things too. Listening to Chris Canty on NY ESPN radio go off, Stephen A Smith, etc is saddening. They always got that extra "umph" when it comes to chastising a black player or a player that stands up for black empowerment beliefs.

If the TV ratings and attendance for these leagues dip drastically than it would mess many future black males money up
