What I find strange is by Kaep not lobbying for a contract everyone else is showing their true colors. Some black people want him to sambo his way to a contract. Owners want him to beg for a job and kiss the ring. Other black people only care about the financial aspect of it putting money over principals. Kaep is standing for something. He has a code that he's not going to break or bend just to appease nikkas. He's moving on his own terms and unlike Vick or Lewis he won't go through life trying to make people forget about past transgressions. Kaep is doing the opposite. He doesn't want people to forget.
