I appreciate your reply brother but I gotta disagree with ya. What do you make of him being benched in favor of BLAINE GABBERT, though? I don't think ANYONE who loses a competition with Gabbert is starter material, do you? Also, I don't think I've ever seen a QB do this:

Kaep my have been benched by Tomsula but to act like his performance on the field was good is absolutely insane also Kaep got injured in the packers game that season after his four interception game against the cardinals two of which were pick sixes. While you are correct that was the worst o-line in the nfl Gabbert did perform better than Kaep with the same o-line over the course of eight games. This article Eight starts each: Comparing Kaepernick to Gabbert gives a really good comparison and also uses stats from pro football focus. Kaep and Gabbert are pretty much the same guy stats wise neither one are franchise qb's and kaep does struggle in reading the field and go through his progressions. Kaep's political statement does have a lot to do with they he isn't on a team now but so does his play because, if Cam Newton had done this we all know he would still be on a team.

Thing is, he's not a backup. I don't know why people keep calling him that. He is starter material. There were still plenty of 9er fans that supported Kaep and took pics with him during his protest. Doon't let the vocal ones paint the wrong picture. Fans are fickle. If teams are winning, fans will STFU. It took Andy Reid to sign Vick even when plenty of fans cried about the same shyt.

I am a niner fan, i go to games multiple times a year and majority of the people that actually went to the games because levi's was a ghost town were rocking with kaep and his stance and they were the most vocal ones in the fanbase in sf they painted a mural for him that i walked past going to work once i get off the muni. However, a lot of people were ignoring his on the field performance because of his stance, they were not winning and his play does not elevate a team and pairing him with chip kelly was really his best shot to prove he was starter material and he ended up winning the exact same number of games as blaine gabbert with more opportunities. Two things can be true at the same time his play and his politics contributed to his situation. Also, his girl isn't helping him by calling the most iconic face of raven franchise a house nikka which i am surprised more people are angry about because since when do we allow for someone who is not black to weaponize are past and use our pain to attack one of our own because they don't agree with his stance. I mean it is bad enough when we do it but to allow others to do it that is insane.

Ignoring the ad hominem; how Steve Biscotti is racist for taking time to EVALUATE whether he wants his team to take a PR hit over a backup QB? Would the only way he for him to NOT be perceived as racist be to have him sign him without even mulling it over?

The fact that they made their interest in him public and went as far as to publicly compliment his intelligence kinda disproves that assertion. They could've just said fuk him and not even brought his name up. They were likely considering signing him until his people blasted the owner. Bad business and since Kaep didn't have his woman take that post down I'm pretty sure owners now think that if they take too long to sign him they'll be blasted too, he's done.
