Card is better but to be fair the Austin competition he faces is trash. Longview plays much better competition.

You're right. But if you're a legit 4-star QB prospect, let alone a 5-star QB prospect like King is ranked, you gonna put up numbers against high school defenses. And King is outchea struggling.

Are you sure Longview H.S. is an under center/pro-style offense like Katy H.S. & Euless Trinity H.S. is? Because when I watched highlights of Longview in the state title game last year, they looked like a spread offense to me.

That game against John Tyler on ESPN he was under center most of the game it seemed like, at least way more than I would have him under center. Other than that I've only seen youtube highlights so not really sure.

At least we got 1 Cleveland area school this Mentor team looks like one of the strongest from my area in a while too.

I need to get to one of these Dematha games

I always assumed all these years that everyone had caught up to SLC. But maybe Hal Wasson was just an underachieving coach & he was the problem.

They are going to kill Desoto this week. QB is elite, oline is elite, defense is elite. They are back. I would not be surprised if they beat D'ville.

I think I'm going to go catch some games at Cowboys Stadium either this weekend or next.
