Becuz Texas already has that top QB from Alabama committed. If it wasn't for that, the Duncanville QB would've committed to Texas. Sark finally started seriously recruiting the Duncanville QB earlier this year as a back-up option in-case their current QB commit from Alabama flipped somewhere else (or even potentially taking 2 QBs in the class). But dude eventually jumped on the Bama offer.

The Duncanville QB that legit or did he just get upped in rankings over the summer?

Just surprising to see a top 10 overall prospect thats a QB not being sought after by Texas.
