Ban bets are bullshyt. Most of the time, the person making the ban bet just wants to avoid the board because his team lost and he's a particularly annoying stan. They get a week or two off, avoid the deluge, and go back to their regular schedule.

If ban bets were enforced fully, then they wouldn't be able to do it. And the ban should take place 5 days after the event.
