Alicia Keys Ft Nas&Rakim Streets Of NY - YouTube

Nas and Rakim finally on a track together. It was supposed to be the most epic shyt ever. I remember the fake Stillmatic tracklist with NY State of Mind III f/ Rakim and fiending. :ohlawd:

And then this dropped and it was kinda :ld:

And I like Alicia but I don't wanna hear her when the the gods of NYC finally come together. It's not even a bad track but I expected more from Nas and Rakim.

Nas' Sadaam line was crazy though :wow:

remember thinking this was some garbage blend when i first heard it.

its a cool track, but Nas and Jay with No I.D. on the beat? it should have been better

Redbull (Redman on a Clan track) was kinda ehh, thats probably my least favorite song on The W. it never stood out musically or lyrically

Ross, Dre, Jay - 3 Kings

good one, the beats so crazy yet the verses sucked. Ross was iight, but Dre didnt fit (and sounded old) Jay mailed it in

Nas Is Coming is an ok song, but Dre and Nas in 96 should have been way better. i know Dre played him better beats than that

you know what's funny? as bad as Nas Is Coming is, it's actually one of Dre's better beats from that horrible Dre presents the aftermath era. If you scratch the wack chorus and replace Nas with a west coast MC the joint would be cool.

Ya'll are bugging.

Black Republicans is a classic.

What more could you expect? You want Hov and Nas to break down the meaning of life with Jesus and Sam Cooke's ghost signing the hook?

Came in here to say this.

I used to run around with the "Analyze That" joint that DJ Ill Will put together, with them and Lord Tariq on it, and loved that track! So I always wanted them to actually do an official joint together.

But "Black Republicans" fell wild short.

Analyze That is a real track. The original is called No Love Lost and its Shaq feat Lord Tariq, Nas and Jay-Z. Nas verse was removed from the album, and Lord Tariq has a different verse which he talks about coke. so that is the first Nas and Jay-Z collabo. When it resurfaced later (without Shaq), Nas verse was added to the album Lord Tariq verse, and Shaq was removed. It is not a cut-n-paste like Renegades is.

But on topic, Redman & Eminen - Off the Wall was such a let down.
