Brandon Carr makes 10M to make no plays (0 picks last year) and average at best in coverage. he should be on here, Claiborne may suck but he doesnt make as much

Exactly. I personally think this is the best thing that could happen to Mettenberger. Dude should want to be a career backup. Once you're thrown into that Day 1 starter role and you don't deliver there is no going back, it's like teams continue to treat you like you should be starting and you can't be a backup anymore. Word to Matt Leinert. fukk all that, let me be a backup earning millions for 10+ years just to hold a clipboard. You get to retire with your health 100% in tact and millions in the bank.

Bruh forget the game I rather be a practice squad payer,they get paid decent.As for Mettenberger he should pay the Jimmy Clausen role,just be happy to be on a team.Any franchise that starts Mettenberger over Mariota is a dumb franchise.They can say Mariota doesn't have the smarts or knows terminology of the playbook but that's nonsense.
