Wilt Chamberlain
Looking ahead to next year.
24/7 sports polls dozens of college basketball journalists to try predicting where players end up.
Here are the current results for some top players.
#2. Jaylen Brown Kentucky 44% UCLA 41%
Kentucky are the favorites but this recent UCLA run to the Sweet 16 has made things interesting. This is also very much a battle between Nike and Adidas.
#4. Malik Newman Kentucky 51%
Mississippi State 17%
The Ben Howland hiring got Miss St in the race but I do think he ends up at Kentucky as well. Although if the Harrison twins, Ulis and Booker all return and Brown signs with them, Newman may want more minutes and shots and decide to go somewhere else.
#5. Diamond Stone Wisconsin 68%
UConn 21%
Stone isn't the typical Badgers player and he would be by far the most highly touted recruit that Bo Ryan has ever had but he has shown the ability to make the jumper and I really do think he wants stay close to home.
#6. Cheick Diallo Kansas 42%
Iowa St 29%
Don't know much about him but I hope he ends up in Iowa St. I like their team next year with Morris, McKay and Niang coming back.
#7. Ivan Rabb Cal 52%
Arizona 41%
Dunno much about his recruiting situation but I guess he may have some connections with Cal plus he is from the bay area. Arizona will be loaded once again next year so they don't need him as much, although Miller will never say no to more talented bigs.
#8. Thon Maker Kentucky 44%
Kansas 39%
If Towns, Cauley-Stein and Dakari all leave Calipari is going to put a lot of effort into getting him, but I have a feeling him and Diallo will both end up in Kansas.
#9. Stephen Zimmerman
UNLV 34% Arizona 28%
You may think Zimmerman is Kaleb "Zeus" Tarczewski part 2 but Zimmerman is a lot more skilled and aggressive but I do think he is a bit overrated. If Arizona can't get Rabb, he is plan B. Although he and Rabb played AAU together so maybe they go to the same school.
Caleb Swanigan will almost surely commit to Michigan State
Brandon Ingram should end up at Duke.
The most slept on recruiting class right now is Texas A&M.
I've seen Hogg, Tyler Davis and Elijah Bryant play and they will be ready to be big contributors right away in the SEC.
