I just find it funny that the BElk Bowl in Charlotte was so damn expensive before we found out Wake Forest was playing Texas A&M.. but now that it’s those two teams they’re damn near giving tickets away lol. Saw some for 17 bucks on Groupon

It's been way too many for some years now but the fukking names are absurd. As long as a sponsor has enough money, their name could be some letters jumbled together and they'll take them.
none of them matter except the top 5-6. ive never understood why i would care if my 9-3 team can beat an 8-4 team. pointless, for loser gamblers and parents

Gasparilla was supposedly a famous pirate that lived in Florida, and they have a giant parade/festival in Tampa every year called Gasparilla celebrating him. It's basically similar to Mardi Gras. Kinda weird to name a bowl after the pirate/festival since it's in late January
