Yessir, I went back to school for nursing and love it man
Dats what I'm tryna do! I wanna be a psyc nurse! I just applied for a bsn program dat pays your tuition if you agree to work with them for 18 months post graduation. I'm running out of undergraduate federal loans I only got 2 more semesters left. I prolly shoulda taken my prereqs at a community college instead of being a fulltime stdent. I'm also looking into non-nurse MSN programs because you get access to graduate loans. But honestly I don't want to take out like $60k-$100k in loans.

That’s wassup breh, I did the community college route for pre-reqs and associates then BSN program separately so it’s cheaper and more flexible with a full time working schedule. My goal is to do Nurse Practitioner or anesthesia school in the next 5 years.

As far as studying, here are some YT channels I used throughout school that may help you:

NRSNG
RegisteredNurse RN
Simple nursing
Nexus nursing
And a bunch of other random ones if you search the topic you’re studying for on YouTube like “COPD nursing” “heart failure nursing” “HESI review” shyt like that.

You get the idea breh. Keep doing your thing it’ll pay off in the end

I was looking at a few ADN programs or AAS but ion wanna take dat damn teas test lol. And I’d rather just get my bsn now instead of working full time and doing and rn to bsn program even doe most hospitals will pay for it. Eventually I want to be a PMHNP but shyt first I gotta get into nursing school and become an RN.

I used YouTube a lot for my microbiology class and A&P. I know it’s finna be my best friend in nursing school too !!

I think most of us are too old for this. Avg age on here is late 30s to 40s with a few of us pushing 50s.

But if you are really cash strapped just ask the person sitting next to you to borrow their book and go scan that thing in the library. or just take pictures of the pages you need for the week while you are sitting with them in class
😂
