I will say that while it's their job and you don't want to be the jackass assuming that everyone who looks in your direction wants you, it's not impossible that she may have been flirting.
Eye contact alone isn't enough to make that assumption, but the prof I mentioned would occasionally go out of her way to touch me when the situation in no way required it.

On another instance she was helping a student out directly in front my seat and bent over spread eagle, ass arched 5 feet in front of me.
I would never try or assume out the gate a prof whose job it is to speak publicly is flirting w/o empirical evidence.
Maybe she was a touchy feely individual but I didn't observe her doing the same to my peers.
Regardless, this isn't a Lifetime film and I was there to get my grade and gtfo.

Some professors are really impersonal while others are friendlier.
They're all human though so she may think you're handsome or she may be doing her job.
