Won't happen. The top teams won't allow it, they benefit from weak ass schedules and walk they're way into a 2 game play off series. Bama don't wanna see USC right today

Should be conference champs (record be damned) and 1 at large with the #1 seed getting a bye. I wouldn't be against 8 but this committee has shown itself to be so fukkin inconsistent and switching the rules up day by day it seems
Put in a rule saying your sos has to be top 35 or u automatically excluded
If your sos is worse then that means your conference is complete ass cheeks and you don't deserve to get in anyway

If they go to an 8 team, it will be the Power 5 conference champs, the best Group of 5 champ (no way they are being left out like that), and 2 wild cards.

i disagree....only reason: the same issue they having now, they will have if they expand the playoffs, it'll just go from 'what teams should be 3-5' to 'what teams will be 7-10'......until they fix the issue of having a set criteria they go by for selecting teams, not no funky ass committee making shyt up, they dont need to expand shyt....

Nah it counts . I didn't mean that USC would for sure beat Bama in a playoff game, just that USC currently is much better now, then they're ranking. More teams in means more opportunity for fukkery and upsets , like the year the Giants at 9-7 beat the undefeated pats in the Super Bowl, giants got thru the playoffs and won the chip, they were the best team, fukk it
