Boise moved the ball effectively at times w/a first time starter IN MSU
Michigan's offense is 10x better than Boise's. I know MSU has a good defense, but if they're turning the ball over like that against Michigan, they have no chance.
i think the main thing you missed is, southwick was not sacked once, watching the game i only remember like 3 times he was actually under pressure, the way they were hyping up gholston etc. a small quick agile boise state line allowed basically zero pressure.
if boise state had a wr with jets they would have won this game, little slow white dudes got behind their cbs twice in the fourth but just coldn't pull int the catch
