I'm seriously thinking about doing it, probably with my iPhone since all the books for my classes are on reserve on the library for like 3 hours.
Plus the textbooks are not on the internet in PDF form :beli:
Last semester was good I found everything online, but this one :beli:

Bro I had this economics professor that required us to buy 2 textbooks, both of which he wrote. One of the assignments as making sure we has the books and it was like 10% of the grade :russ:

Each book was like 150 and each class had like 30 students. He taught 4 or 5 sections of this class every semester, so he'd have up to 150 students a semester.

That's about 45 racks off pure sales from his classes alone. subtract away the publisher's take, and he probably saw at least 20k EVERY SEMESTER from just his classes

Jews :wow:
Damnnn no lie they some serious hustlas. "If you don't get the book you won't know what's on the test :ld:"

The textbook hustle is real. That white collar finessing:banderas:
Had some of that bullshyt in one of my science classes. I had the 13th edition not the 14th and these mfs put in the exact same problems numbers and all, just switched the order:aicmon:
Lucky for me my TA knew they was on that bullshyt and let me redo all my homework for full credit:blessed:

I never bought a single book my entire time at Vandy :pacspit:

When my little brother got in, he was like "Can I use some of your books next year? :feedme:"

I told him "What books? :ld:"

This is such bs. I bought the older version of my stat book. I just Xerox the hw from a classmate. It's not like procedures change. Them changing math books so frequently always has me like :childplease:.

Not just that, all they changed was the names of the people in the questions!!

:deadmanny: How'd you manage? Power points?

Comp Eng major breh

Mechanics and Physics 2 - Online older version of book, same info, borrow a friends book for HW
Calculus 1, 2, and DiffyQ - same thing
Chemistry - Powerpoints (offered by prof)
Digital Logic - shiiiit we ALL did homework together for that
Java - Buying a Java book makes 0 sense
C++ - Buying a C++ book makes 0 sense
Computer ethics - rented from library, no getting around that one

I think it just comes with the territory. I dont think there is anything in a STEM major that cannot be self-taught.

If I majored in sociology it would be a diff story tho :yeshrug:
