Is Ladd McConkey better than Marvin Harrison Jr? :lupe: I don't know if Kyler Murray is playing too much Call of Duty but Marvin was supposed to be on par with Malik Nabers and he clearly is not. :hubie:

While Ladd McConkey had a down year in comparison to 2024, I think that had more to do with Keenan Allen returning to steal some targets, as well as a shift in the Chargers offensive philosophy to spread the ball around more. Especially with the emergence of Johnston, Gadsden and Hampton. It's likely, too, that Herbert simply failed to connect as often with McConkey since the average depth of target was the same.
Anyway, the broader point is that we have seen flashes of McConkey being that upper tier player.
We haven't really seen any kind of consistency from Marvin Harrison Jr that might suggest he's on par with the elite WRs that have been drafted over the last 2 years.
Even in the few games with Jacoby Brissett, Harrison looked pretty bad. It says a lot that Michael Wilson was basically Jerry Rice in that Cardinals offense. MHJ has never once looked as good as Wilson did this year.
It seems wrong to call the man a bust after 2 years but he almost definitely does NOT have superstar WR ceiling.
