Now that means Punk can come back as a heel and do great business as a heel, but on the indies that means fostering good relationships and getting an overarching storyline with someone that’ll draw. Cody got himself attached with Bullet Club and Being the Elite. Punk’s 40 years old and his working relationships dont last.

If you want to get technical. then yes, WWE/Amann may have lost the court battle, but they've actually won the war. This whole lawsuit helped break up a pretty well known and legendary friendship. But Punk seems to have dropped other friendships in the past (Hornswoggle, Kofi, Graves) so who's to say that he wouldn't do that to Cabana too.
