Caldwell went to the SB as a HC because he inherited the Peyton Manning Colts, who were already a machine before he got the job.
Indy progressively got worse during his tenure, and his poor decision making cost Indy on multiple occasions.

I'm not arguing that Fisher or Wisenhunt deserve longer leashes, or that they are quality head coaches. I'm only arguing that Caldwell is not a good HC. Don't confuse the two.
