Drunk drivers are the worst and they always seem to escape injury. Dude had a good year too, was probably helping a stranded driver on the road change a tire or something.

Man same thing happened in Dallas to a lady who stopped to help a pregnant lady stranded on the size of the road. She got struck n killed by a car while trying to help.

Be careful out there. I am always watching drivers to see if they are teetering on the line. I drove home drunk once. I fukked up. I was down the street from my house at a party and I didnt intend to get drunk. This was before Uber. I thought it would be ok because at that time I would be lucky to see 2 cars on that route at that time in the morning. I made it home without incident but I never drove again anywhere close to the limit. I dont drink much anyway and it was one of the rare times I had actually gotten drunk outside of HS/College.

That's why I almost never stop on the side of the the highway if I can help it. Too many terrible drivers and drunks. I've had tires blow out and I rode on the rim til the next exit. I'm not about to get taken out by some clown who's texting. So many people get killed chillin on the side of the highway. If your car breaks down, get out and get as far away from the road as possible. I hate hearing shyt like this. These drunk drivers need the death penalty.

It sounds like the other guy was actually an uber or lyft driver giving Jackson a ride. Article said Jackson got sick. So I'm guessing he was coming from the bar and asked the driver to pull over so he could throw up. I'm a lyft driver and if anybody asks me to pull over on the highway I hit em with the .......I try to keep barf bags for those times though. Pulling over on the highway in the middle of the night is playing Russian roulette with your life.
