I do believe HB's are getting screwed because of the franchise tag, especially being able to be tagged multiple times. But, until that changes, the value of HB's after their rookie contracts won't be high.

You can argue LT is the second most important position, but there is really no debate against QB being the most important, especially in the modern NFL.

You dropping 200 mil plus on one player....that shyt ain't right esp when his offensive Linemen ain't even making 100 mill. The disperancy is a big deal considering they are the protectors literally of rbs and qbs who make waaaaay more than they do on avg historically and to this day.

To your point though -- a RB is *usually* only as good as his OL; Guard and Center in particular. If your Center is basura/not very cerebral your OL/running game/QB is going to struggle, massively.
