Bills Mafia
I wish the bills could afford him
None of those RBs have elevated their teams though. The league is colluding with respect to running backs the way thry did with Kaep.
Saquon, Cook, Taylor, Jacobs. Best RBs in the game.
None of those RBs have elevated their teams though.
All of them have played for mediocre or bad teams.
Meanwhile the Patriots went to a bunch of super bowls with cast offs and unknowns at the position.
The Chiefs have done the same.
I can’t remember when the last time a team won a title with a top 5 rushing RB.
The position is probably too undervalued now. I would agree with that. But in this current landscape you just don’t need the best of the best. You can win with someone “good enough”
I can list all the other Super Bowl winning teams and their RBs but it would save time to just acknowledge the point that the best RBs haven’t been necessary to win.The Pats had the fukking greatest QB of all time. Cmon

It’s become a pass heavy league and QBs are getting money that used to also be split with the RBs. There is no reason for Daniel Jones to be making 30 million more than Saquon. And RBs were getting big deals up until recently so what is your point?
I agree with this in the sense that QBs are making too much more than RBs.It’s become a pass heavy league and QBs are getting money that used to also be split with the RBs. There is no reason for Daniel Jones to be making 30 million more than Saquon.
Teams believe that if you have good enough offensive lineman and WRs that the RB doesn’t matter. The problem with that is the only teams that have won recently were either stacked at every other position (or on defense) or had a HOF QB.I agree with this in the sense that QBs are making too much more than RBs.
@JLova is saying RBs were getting big deals until recently, so what’s my point?
My point is that the market has been slow to catch up but that’s what is happening now.
Both can be true.
1. Teams are now recognizing that you don’t need top RBs to win, and therefore aren’t paying top dollar for them.
2. Teams are probably undervaluing top RBs too much.
So guys like Saquon and Henry and Taylor should make more. But they aren’t going to make as much as the best QBs or WRs.
The treatment of RBs is an allegory to the treatment of black people in Americaa running back does what no other player in the sport can
the only player that can come close to single handedly carrying a team
franchises use them in times they don't want to put money into building a team
then as soon as they are ready to spend money they look to short the rb
qb wr te etcetera etcetera etcetera all the other skill positions are much more dependent on the overall quality of the surrounding pieces but get paid even though they are not the warhorses in times of struggle
it's so fukked up..........
