Irsay and Colts FO is foul as fukk for acting like they cared enough to inquire about trades for JT just recently when he had already requested a trade last month. Now he has to miss 4 games. SMH
Irsay been a piece of shyt. NFL probably told his ass “you better put him on the block” and he says d “bet, nikka still ain’t going nowhere like I said”Irsay and Colts FO is foul as fukk for acting like they cared enough to inquire about trades for JT just recently when he had already requested a trade last month. because it's easier to go through RB's than it is to go through QB's. If you go through RB's, it's accepted. If you attempt to go through QB's, then it's viewed as a sign that you don't know what you're doing at the most important position on the field and it'll cost you your job. That’s my point. The QB floor is artificial. Teams could easily just say they’re not going to pay guys that sort of money like they do to RBs. The franchise tag also muddies it up. The players should’ve never agreed to that shyt. Like if the Giants look at Daniel Jones and say we’re only paying you 25, who else put there would’ve paid him 40? Teams bid against themselves for QBs but don’t do it for RB.
hes probably gonna stay on 6 games and then come off PUP get accrual for this season. But I doubt he actually plays for the Colts ever again, so they will probably move him before the trade deadline.Irsay and Colts FO is foul as fukk for acting like they cared enough to inquire about trades for JT just recently when he had already requested a trade last month. it's really some fukkeryThe real problem for running backs is there is no other positions to push them because that is how you get paid.
Once upon a time offensive linemen didnt get paid shyt...then defensive ends started blowing up QB's...then teams started saying maybe I need to spend real money on lineman to keep the highest paid player on my team on the field.
Also a QB don't even have to complete a pass to move the ball. He can throw it at a defender back for a penalty and yardage. He can dip his head when he get hit for a penalty and yardage. He can fall on the ground and grab his knee for a penalty and yardage. He can be complete garbage but get you 60 yards downfield cause he threw a pass 12 yards over a receiver head and the receiver flopped.
If you hit a running back in the legs what penalty is that? If you hit a running back in the head what penalty is that? QB and receivers get hit in the helmet its roughing the passer and personal foul. Running back gets hit in the head its 3 straight replays on monday night football taking about "listen to the pop of those pads."
The whole "Elite QB" title is a complete scam. You can make an argument that their is no such thing as an "elite QB"
That's still problematic because teams would just draft an RB every year or 2 for fresh legs. RB is the worst position to play in the NFLrookie rbs contracts need to be 2 years not 4
