I used to clown Premium Pete when he was on Combat, but now that hes solo his podcast is way better than Combat Jack's.. The fact that Pete has Dallas Penn show up every week consistently and they have way better guests gives them the edge...

On Pete's Super Bowl special he had Paul Wall, Bun B, Scarface and Justin Tuck on one episode..Then the Rod Strickland one was excellent..Pete is stunting on Combat right now. It's funny how the tables turned...

y'all ain't loyal combat got his whole lane jacked. he did fall off though by going all interview format. drink champs is what combat jack was minus the drinks... that atmosphere is gone.

Premium Pete's Show got the perfect balance of fukkery and good interviews to me...i would listen to them without guests though

Pete was sidelined to dropping one liners on the jack show he wasn't doing much
Dallas leaving was really the nail
the only person that might have reason to feel slighted is Pete..

not just Pete...Combat had Just Blaze, Matt Raz, NY Delight, Jas Fly, Don Will, Jean Grae and Kellz on the show too...Just Blaze and Dallas left on their own...everybody else got fired

fukk all that though...Pete, Dallas and Miss Lissa are killing it right now...Combat's show is still good when he has legends on so the listeners win in the end

Matt RA is behind the scenes. The women added to the show kinda flopped with the audience that's why they didn't stick around. Jean Grey for a hostile reception. Everyone you named besides the early cast was only there for a trial run.

In reality you should ask why Dallas left cuz he sank the ship but he has time to be on the other podcast. The only one that was fired was Pete. Just Blaze was always a friend of the show. When they changed format from less homies having banter about the culture featuring guests to interviews Dallas was tight. He didn't want to be there for that. When they got sponsored he was being gagged from saying anything. After those things he bailed

Dallas didn't like the new direction. It also didn't fit now that the show was structured like that to have everyone in the studio so the friends who would hang in and comment lost their place. Matt Raz, Ben Hamin etc. They tried to bring female voices those got rejects. Don will sucked. In the end it was just Pete and he said 2 words a show.

They should have never flipped the format.

exactly...and who's responsible for that? lol....not Dallas....fact is Combat thought he could carry the show by himself and that idea flopped which is why he's begging Dallas to come back and tryna re-introduce Kells

Been hearing for years how cool DMC was.


and in all honsety...if u an NWA head...u already know everybodys story.....Watching Straight Outta Compton was like a cool flashback.....the only thing new from that movie to me was the battering ram scene in the beginning. That scene where Eazy couldnt flow on beat allegedly took 8 hours according to dres bio.

the only members who are a mystery are Ren and Yella.....i truly felt like they coulda gave more details on Ren in that movie....how the fukk Yella get more slot time then Ren?


just like when Ice t was on the show....everything he said i heard years ago...hell ice t had a Behind The Music dedicated to him.....Same with Russel Simmons when he was on the show all though Russ does have away of going back to the 80's where u right there with him.



Unless Ice Cube gives up some unknown dirt....his story will just be a rehash of what we already know.

I'd be interested in some more detail about which songs on AMW were actually for NWA or Easy solo and if hey ever saw the rhymes etc. more detail on making DC. Some details about Helter Skelter, his true thoughts on if there will ever be another Friday movie and could Smokey be written back in. His views on new west artists and if he would do an album with new cats and new (good) production.
