I hate comcast so much. Literally all my marketing and business essays I've written since 11th grade have been about how crappy comcast/xfinity is. Sometimes my teachers will put a comment in them saying they agree that it sucks hard.

Wired > wireless. fukk comcast but for my home connection i'll always prefer a wired one over wireless.

With the tech now in days wireless is the better solution for a casual user. I remember there was an isp way back in the 00's that used to offer wireless internet for the low. I forgot the companies name but Duval guys on here might remember.

The biggest reason I mess with charter is because when I call, I can still get someone in the us. Att I almost always get a foreigner who doesn’t know anything. I imagine Verizon is similar. When charter decides to outsource the majority of their customer service, then I’ll leave. I pay 69.99 for 500 and phone line. If that’s a lot then I’m ok paying a premium knowing if I have an issue the person I gotta talk to speaks decent English. I think they are doing gateway fiber in my neighborhood soon. I might look into them but charter isn’t all that bad where I live.

as soon as they had another cable internet provider available where I lived, I jumped on it and never looked back. now I pay $45 a month for 500Mbps internet ONLY with no data cap.

comcast charges an extra $30 for unlimited data on top of whatever plan u got. plus if u have the unlimited data, u can no longer use ur own modem and have to rent there's on top of that

go to the astound/RCN website. they will tell u ur availability. I was trying to get out of comcast for years, and as soon as it was available I switched.

my brother lives in the UK village, and he's been had RCN. I switched to WOW, but their customers in chicago were acquired by RCN. all the customers from WOW got 2 free months during the switch cuz they couldn't get the billing to switch over.

Woah woah woah. I'm not sure if a Comcast rep lied to you or you were mistaken but you should be able to use your own modem as long as it's supported by your ISP breh

Comcast trash to the point where it doesnt make sense. These fools tell you they take ur money out a month ahead of time but are quick to cut that shyt off as soon as you dont pay. Comcast needs to burn as a company and never return.

if you live close relatives or close friends who live nearby, you should look into wireless solutions by Ubiquiti to a share internet connection and save money.
