Comcast in Houston is a piece of shyt. Throttling the shyt out of my uploaded.net account. Unfukkingbelievable.

Well to know if they are truly doing some throttling...get something like wireshark, run it while you download something from somewhere else...check it to make sure the packets are doing what they are supposed to do...then download from rapidgator or wherever and see what is going on...
I gotta admit, I'm kinda lost with this wireshark shyt.
I know when I download off steam or wherever, I get 3mb/s. RIght now off of uploaded I'm ketting around 75kb/sec. I checked my speed and I'm getting about 30 down. There is no reason that my uploaded downloads should be so slow, other than throttling.
Like I just downloaded wireshark at 2.0mb/s. Uploaded still at 75kb/sec. Why?

Yeah wireshark is not an easy tool to learn how to use, but I think it is worth it because it shows you what happens to packets coming in and out of your machine...really the only way to know for certain...
Another thing to try is port forwarding with your router...then download from where you think the traffic is being throttled...would at least tell you if they are throttling the port or the actual traffic...
Comcast has a history of doing this so I wouldn't be surprised

Yo, I suspect comcast is throttling sites like rapidgator, uploading.net, etc. I do a speed test and i'm at like 2.7 mbps, but when I try to download anything from rapidgator (or other locker sites like that), I get like 100 kbps. I try to download off itunes, and that shyt is like 2.5mbps. Is comcast throttling my fukking shyt? I called those mother fukkers and they say they are not, but something is fukking fishy. This shyt started to happen about a week ago.
I don't know what the fukk is up, but is anybody else having this problem with comcast?
Is there anyway to get around it? I need that download fix brehs. I need it. I'm feinding over here waiting for an 800mb show to download in like 5 hours as opposed to the previous 5 minutes

You can't really make it faster, you can just stop them from making it slower. Too bad that solution also makes your connection slower as well.
But 800 kbps is better than 100
