Except they don't have a cap. They aren't enforcing the 250gb. It states as much on their website.

not enforcing the 250 and not having a cap are two entirely different things... They will start enforcing .... I give it 12 months and they'll probably charge 15 extra for no cap.

It's definitely possible. I have an ebook on how to do it. The author did time over that shyt so I can trust his legitimacy. I'm just not that tech savvy and never did any type of soldiering. You can buy modems already modded as well.

On another note though, I'm planning on building a web server and hosting a website through it. I'd love for some of com casts upload speed..cause att is abysmal

man, all I know is I downloaded a 6GB movie yesterday, and that shyt finished in like 30 or 40 minutes. no bullshyt. I was shocked. my parents have ATT and there is no comparision between the two. comcast shyts on them something serious.

Quick question while we're talking internet.

I pay $50/month for Clear (big in the A) to give me internet access on my network. It's just a modem/router that lights up. If I bought my own would I still have to pay the monthly fee?

Im tryna cut monthly costs and I can buy my own modem router if that's all im payin for

I dont know how clear works, but with comcast, I bought my cable modem like 10 years ago for around $50. since the cost of renting a modem is $5 a month, the cable modem paid for itself after 10 months. so for the remaining 98 months, I saved around almost $500 in rental fees.

Btw clear makes you buy their modem/routers initially

Anybody capped on their internet monthly? Mine is like 300gb...just noticed that when I saw an email warning me that I was @ 90% usage for the month a few months back. Since when did they start capping internet usage smh.

I have a cap and I usually don't go over it. My ISP typically doesn't do anything anyway but I'd imagine if I kept going over it month after month they'd say something.
