lets just call this what it is....
a way to stop people from downloading so much.. and having 80 streaming sites... which HAS to be cutting into cable money for them
i know i barely watch cable.. any show i can download in 5 minutes so why pay $50 a month for all the premium hbo's and shyt... especially when all i gotta do is find one person with an hbo go pw.. showtime and starz have stream apps... netflix.. xbox and amazon.. sony has a stream store... everyone wants you to download full games too
they just want you to go over that a few times... call and ask why your shyt is so high... so they can say "well maybe it'd be cheaper to upgrade your cable package and get rid of the streaming"

comcast is still gonna charge you $40 a month... they just happen to be charging the highest users at $40 a month PLUS $10 for every 50 gigs over
either way, you as a small user, are still paying $40 bucks a month either way.. so what did you actually gain??
just got a warning in e mail last week. seems we went over our "cap" by 258GBs. Further down in the email it says they offer a better plan, that still wouldn't cover 508GBs, for 99$ a month.

fukk comcast... im trying to convince my fam to cut the cord. wire the house with fios and hook up apple tv boxes to the hdmi on each tv. and get a digital tv turners...
Went to pay my bill today and I see that I went over 300GB for June. Already at like 17GB for July and it just started WTF. This wasn't a problem when I was @ school and working weekly, but that's not the case now. I have more down time thus I'm using more data now. I'm also in a city that doesn't provide Verizon Fios and probably never well....shytty state.
