What they need to do is invest in a new technology, and stop putting those OLD cable boxes and that other shoddy ass equipment in peoples homes.

nah i haven't been but I'm sure comcast is the main culprit the others are probably just following the lead. Aren't they the biggest in the nation? I know they run the whole southeast nikkaz own fukking nbc .

F Comcast man. They buy all these other companies then pass on the expense to the customers. My bill was going up 30 dollars every six months because of it. No added channels just basic cable with internet and phone. It needs to stop you should be able to pick any cable provider you want or internet provider. Similar how it's done when getting insurance.

As long as you have FIOS and DirecTV and Dish, the gov-ment gonna OK this.. Besides here in NYC it wasnt like you could choose your cable company anyway. Certain companies where in certain boroughs and you had to accept it it yougot sateliite...

But now Comcast is 1 cable conglomerate with tons of states forced to use it. If this merger goes through it's a bad day for everyone. I mean can u imagine one cable company controlling all the networks in every state plus internet? Especially if you cannot get Verizon or Google. That's crazy.

but as long as satellite exists the gov't OKed that as competition years ago ... I''m not saying it ... Hell I got Dish for TV and Cablevision for internet/phone ... I hate cablevision but i cant change... Fios just came in my area but with all my DISH dvr shows and my archived shows plus the wife and kids are used to the interface, channel lineup, etc...

I had dish since 99 .. so I been out of contract unless I want to upgrade equipment for free....

Com-Assed Cable can be annoying but their customer service is pretty good. I had like a $500 cable bill and they turned my shyt back on with just a promise to pay. Not mad at that.
