You shouldn't because it's simply not true. General Tariq Ibn Ziyad was said to be Black as ink, as was most of his army. They had some Arabs with them but the overwhelming majority of the army was Black. Dr. Runoko Rashidi speaks on it.

Hannibal's father Hamilcar crossed from Carthage to Spain and conquered the southern region, and after his death Hannibal took over from there conquering the rest of Spain on his way to Italy.
