I'll admit I was wrong about Porzingas as well. At best I thought he would give you 11ppg and 5rpg. I really thought he was going to be a bust. But everybody else was wrong as well. Even Phil Jackson said Porzingas was a development project. No way they thought he would be this ready this fast.

The Lakers coach Byron Scott, has said that they " made a mistake, thinking Porzingas wouldn't be ready". BTW, If I'm D Angelo Russell I would be pissed.

In the end, as a Knick fan; this has been exciting to see what Porzingas is doing. It's finally our time!!

The only questions I had of him where

1) How's he going to look in game # 60 of the season? The NBA season is a grind and kporzee admitted he never played back to backs.

2) If he adds muscle is it going to effect his game?

3) Is he going to need a teacher (Hakeem/Ewing) to show him how to play like a NBA big man and not be a 1 trick pony?

I didn't think he'd be a good fit in NY prior to them signing Lopez though since he's not a 5, but I always liked his talent. Supposedly the Pistons wanted him, league dodged a bullet, a Drummond / Porzingis frontcourt would have been a nightmare.
